The Riverside Inn is the perfect venue for your group get-together, family reunion, company retreat or school outing. The maximum capacity of the lodge is 22 people, but larger groups can rent the lodge plus some or all of the motel units, each extra unit sleeping up to five people. Thus we can flexibly accommodate any size group up to 50 people, over several types of rooms.
We are experienced in accommodating a wide range of needs within one group. For example, at family reunions where different generations have distinct requirements, we might suggest that older family members stay in the privacy, peace and quiet of a motel unit, while the youngsters party the night away in the lodge. Alternately, parents with young children may wish to take rooms in the lodge where they may enjoy some relaxed "grown-ups-only" time in the fireside lounge, after the kids are tucked safely into bed upstairs.
Renting the whole lodge can prove to be a very economic way to stay in Stowe, and presents a great opportunity for a worry-free house party away from home. Groups who book the entire lodge have the exclusive use of our fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, fireside lounge and games areas complete with pool and ping pong tables.
